This workforce depends upon educated and trained practitioners, all of whom have been instructed in evidence-based curriculum and earned relevant certifications that demonstrate mastery of core competencies. By providing these practitioners with the knowledge and certifications they need in order to carry out their work, the Global Institute for Apprenticeship and Certification seeks to advance the profession of career and workforce development, ensuring that this important work is being done with integrity and consistency for the good of both the profession and those who are served by it.

The Global Institute for Apprenticeship and Certification's mission is to ensure the fidelity and validity of apprenticeship and certification programs related to career and workforce development across the world. Through rigorous evaluation of curriculum and competencies, we promote the standardization of professional certification and apprenticeship programs to enhance the service delivery and professionalism in the field while advancing apprenticeships and certification programs as viable, career-enhancing opportunities for career growth and stability across the world.

This course is pre-approved for continuing education hours for those that hold the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential by the Center for Credentialing & Education.
Becoming an effective career practitioner working with persons with disabilities (PWD) requires integration collaboration among leadership, partners, and staff to deliver efficient, effective, and empowering career development services to individuals with disabilities to increase the quality employment outcomes.
